PROJECT PARTICIPANTS
This study can be implemented in public, charter, and private schools in California. Initial Surveys include requests for demographic information of both teachers and students. All survey and other related information and responses are securely stored in serves controlled by the Utah Valley University principal investigators for this study. Use of collected data outside of this study is strictly prohibited.

Participants: High School Teachers (Min 3 per School)
High school teachers with junior and senior level courses can expect the following:
Initial Survey (Summer) collects base data on TTM stage and current teaching practices. 10-Weeks of 10 Instructional Modules and Support for Specific Strategies (based on survey results). Follow-up Survey every 10 Weeks to monitor change in TTM stage and interest in novel teaching practices. Three 10-Week Cycles completes one year of participation - this study is intended to last three full years.
Participants: High School Juniors/Seniors (Min 100 per School)
High School students (juniors and seniors) can expect the following:
Initial Survey (Fall) collects base data on TTM stage and current learning practices. Follow-up Survey every 10 Weeks to monitor change in TTM stage and learning practices. Continued participation from high school into college classes over the three-year study.
Participants: College Teachers (Min 3 per School)
College Teachers with first- and second-year courses can expect the following:
Initial Survey (Summer) collects base data on TTM stage and current teaching practices. 10-Weeks of 10 Instructional Modules and Support for Specific Strategies (based on survey results). Follow-up Survey every 10 Weeks to monitor change in TTM stage and interest in novel teaching practices. Three 10-Week Cycles completes one year of participation - this study is intended to last three full years.
Participants: College Students (Min 50 per School)
College students (first or second year) can expect the following:
Initial Survey (Fall) collects base data on TTM stage and current learning practices. Follow-up Survey every 10 Weeks to monitor change in TTM stage and learning practices. Continued participation from high school into college classes over the three-year study.
Surveys will be open during specific windows of time to allow each participant flexibility for participation.
Summer: August 1 - 10 Fall: November 1 - 10 Winter: January 20 - 30 Spring: May 1 - 10
Completion of weekly Instrucitonal Modules and Surveys confirms study participation.
Formal observations are to occur in-person or digitally once every 10 week cycle,
scheduled within specific windows to minimize observer-expectancy effect.
